Senior Teacher

Responsibilities:

The Senior Teacher provides leadership in driving academic excellence by mentoring staff, leading curriculum reviews, and supporting continuous improvement of academic and co-curricular programs. They oversee resource allocation, monitor student progress and behavior interventions, assist with enrolments, and foster strong relationships with parents. The role also includes organizing school events and delivering professional development to enhance teaching quality and promote a positive school environment.

Requirements
We are looking for individuals with:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in English Education or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2–3 years of teaching experience, ideally in an international or IGCSE setting.
  • A solid understanding of classroom management strategies and school protocols.
  • Familiarity with English content, assessment rubrics, and tracking student progress.
  • Proficiency in digital tools and classroom technology to enhance instructional delivery.
  • Strong abilities in:
    • Logical reasoning and problem-solving
    • Analytical and abstract thinking
    • Numerical proficiency and attention to detail
    • Clear communication and effective collaboration

The Junior Teacher is responsible for delivering structured and engaging lessons while supporting students' academic and personal development. Working under the guidance of senior educators and academic leaders, the role involves preparing lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments aligned with the school’s curriculum standards. The Junior Teacher assists in classroom management, contributes to project-based learning, and provides regular feedback to support student progress. This role also involves participating in school events, co-curricular activities, and ongoing professional development. Junior Teachers may be assigned class responsibilities and are expected to uphold the school’s values while continuously improving their teaching practices.
